Over 1500 of New Zealand’s top dogs came from all parts of the country to compete during three days for the ultimate prize of Best In Show.

Breed Judging Conformation Competition include the following groups:

Toy Group – Pugs, Pekingese, Bichon, Maltese…

Gundogs – Cocker Spaniel, Pointers, and Golden Retriewers.

Working Dogs – Border Collies, Welsh Corgi and German Shepherds.

Utility Group – Boxers, Saint Bernards, Bull Mastiffs, Siberian Hasky and Samoyeds.

Non Sporting Group – Dalmatians, French Bulldogs, Chow Chows, Poodles, Bulldogs and Bostons.

Gundog Group – Labradors, Irish Setters, Lagotto and Bracco.

Hound Group – Whippets, Borzoi, Afgans, Dachshunds, Bassets.

Terrier Group – Staffords, Wire Fox, and Cairn Terriers.

Obedience competitions, dancing with dogs and much more..
This is great fun for family to see the New Zealand's finest trained dogs.

Originally bred to hunt, haul sledges, and herd reindeer, the Samoyed dog breed proved a valuable companion for northwestern Siberia’s Samoyede people. Among the breed’s duties: pack hiking, tracking, and warming their owners by sleeping on top of them at night.
