Putin played at center forward in his traditional No11 shirt. He scored heaps of goals and helped his team to win 14-7.
Putin played on the legends team with famous hockey stars such as Viacheslav Fetisov and Pavel Bure. His teammate, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, scored almost all of the rest goals.
The opposing team recruited Putin's old friend tycoon Gennady Timchenko, billionaire Vladimir Potanin several Russian governors plus other high-profile amateur players.
Unfortunately Putin tripped on a red carpet and fell over during his victory lap around the rink after game finished.
