Belgium came through the quarter-finals by impressively beating Brazil. But in the semi-final game they were unable to score. France deserved to go to the final. They scored the goal and then played well organised to ensure their win.
Defender Samuel Umtiti scored the winning goal for the France in the second half with a towering header from Antoine Griezmann's corner.
