Last year about 250,000 people came to Auckland Central to watch the parade. This year the event attended even more people to enjoy stunning performance.
For many years the Farmers Santa Parade was one of the most enjoyable events to the children and their parents.
Thousands of Kiwis came to the Auckland CDB for the country's most spectacular Christmas parade.
The parade features colourful grand floats representing the cultural diversity of today’s Auckland, lively marching bands, amazing character balloons, plus an appearance by Santa Claus!
Now the Farmers Santa Parade attracts over 250,000 people, 4,000 participants and 280 various creatures of Christmas magic over a 2.2km route. For 81 years the Farmers Santa Parade has brought joy to the children of Auckland and this year is no exception.
The Auckland Santa Parade features all the amazing pageantry, fun and surprises that have made this annual Auckland City
extravaganza a perennial favourite. Heralding the start of the Christmas season, this beloved holiday parade features colourful grand floats representing the cultural diversity of today’s Auckland, lively marching bands, amazing character balloons, plus an appearance by Santa Claus!
The Parade Route is 2.2kms long and takes approximately 1 hour to pass any given point..
The Auckland Santa Parade features all the amazing joy, fun and surprises that have made this annual Auckland City event a real favourite for children and adults.
