The Highlanders beat the Hurricanes in an outstanding thrilling Super Rugby final with a 21-14 final score. The game took place at the Hurricanes home stadium in Wellington.
On the way to Wellington the Highlanders had knocked off the Chiefs in Dunedin, after that crashed the Waratahs in Sydney to get their tickets to Wellington.
Actually almost everyone expected that the regular season champions on their home field will be winners. But the Highlanders proved at Westpac Stadium in front of a capacity crowd of 36, 600 that they are simply the best in this season 2015.
So the best moments:
Elliott Dixon (Highlanders ) scored a wonderful try just before halftime. Nasi Manu played through most of the game with one eye shut.
Ma'a Nonuand and captain Konrad Smith (Hurricanes) tried the best, but the Highlanders site was stronger.
